Advanced Quality Engineer - Temporary

This role involves working with project teams for the introduction of new products & processes.
Creation of technical documents & SOPs.
Significant involvement in process mapping and risk assessment activities.
Investigation of site GMP issues.
Involvement in key site processes such as Product Quality Review and internal audits.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical or Medical Device company in a technical or quality role.
A sound knowledge in GMP.
Experience or awareness of a range of ISO standards would be beneficial.
Previous experience of performing quality audits.
Ability to tackle complex issues.
Computer literate, including proficiency in the use of MS Office suite.

MT Engineer - Temporary

The successful applicant will be working as part of a technical team focused on marketed product support, new product introduction and continuous improvement activities for both Class 1 Medical Device and oral and topical Pharmaceutical preparations. The role will involve interaction with internal manufacturing, logistics and technical colleagues and possible interaction with customers / suppliers. You will be expected to set clear standards and lead by example when working with internal and external contacts.

Job Responsibilities

Partake in the technical activities of the MT Team to ensure technical development of products and manufacturing processes.
Further develop product and process understanding for manufacturing processes.
Provide ongoing technical support for the process and equipment, including training, troubleshooting, continuous improvement projects, annual product reviews, and documentation updates etc
Prepare and execute Validation Master Plans, Process Optimization Studies, Process Validation and Cleaning Validation documents.
Design statistically valid in-process sampling plans for production use.
Author batch records and operating documents, and finished product specifications.
Implementation of lean principles in manufacturing and packaging environments.
Support the lead Project Engineer during FAT, SAT, installation and commissioning phases.
Champion continuous process improvement within the production teams.

Knowledge & Skills

Experience in GMP within a contract manufacturing environment of the Medical Device and Drug Product industry.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained is desirable
Experience of New Product Introduction is desirable
Statistical sampling techniques (e.g. AQLs)
Process optimization techniques e.g. Design of Experiments.
Equipment qualification and process validation
Continuous Improvement techniques including Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma concepts.
Introduction of new equipment and processes.
Medical Device and Drug Product Quality Systems and GMPs for EU, US and ROW: ISO13485, Orange Guide

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant science discipline is essential.

Laboratory Technician, QC

Seeking an Analytical experienced Lab Technician to carry out HPLC testing to GMP/GLP standards.

Relevant experience in a laboratory, with industry experience is essential.
Strong HPLC experience with knowledge of GLP/GMP is also ESSENTIAL!

Educated to degree level in a relevant science subject.

Hours of work will be an alternating shift pattern of 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm, shift enhancement given on hourly rate.
