Aftersales and Warehouse Parts Person – Temp to Perm

We have an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious automotive company based in Loughborough, for a warehouse person, providing aftermarket parts support to a national customer base.

You will be organising the day to day running of the parts warehouse.  Receiving and despatching parts, completion of appropriate paperwork and assisting with the stock takes.

A current Fork Lift Truck licence is required, together with good IT knowledge and great customer service skills.

The role is to work days, Monday to Friday, but a flexible attitude is required.

Engineering Workshop Operative – Permanent

We are seeking a passionate individual to join one or our prestigious bespoke manufacturing and pattern making companies.

Our Client based locally have a long history of Pattern making and Engineering which has set the tone for there impeccable standards. Through the years they have evolved into Manufacturing Experts offering a service to its clients that cannot be matched.

They have over 10,000 square feet of manufacturing area dedicated to the Pattern shop and five in-house CNC Machines. These are supported by our team of highly skilled CAD CAM operatives. Our Specialist Wood Machining department has a further 7,000 square feet of dedicated space.

This is an opportunity to join a thriving and supportive company, and contribute to a pioneering project backing the growing enthusiasm for making and manufacturing. We are therefore looking for an individual who is a good communicator, has basic woodworking or manufacturing skills and/or has just completed BTEC/HND/HNC.

You must have working knowledge of using various tools together with understanding technical drawings. Would suit someone with great attention to detail, willing to train and very good work ethics.

To ensure that the workshop, bench and communal areas are kept clean and organised.

To check that all tools are stored and locked as appropriate, and any keys are kept safe.

To support the Senior Technicians in workshop management duties where necessary.

Working alongside the Technicians, you will be responsible for maintaining tools and machinery to a safe standard and in line with current Health & Safety Policy and COSSH standards.

Knowledge of safe working practices, materials and equipment used in the work areas.

Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 5pm - Overtime available

£8.85 per hour to start, including shift premium

Our Loughborough based client seeks additional workers with experience working in a fast moving manufacturing environment. Clear hand-writing and good communication skills essential. Experience in picking/packing and the ability to pay close attention to detail is essential. Knowledge of GMP, and experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry is desirable. Clean environment. Some lifting required (not heavy). Experience working to precise standards is essential.

This is potentially a long term role with prospects to progress, so we want the best, most reliable people who can supply good references.

Shifts: A mix of 12¼ hour Days and Nights, including some weekend work.
Days:06:00hrs – 18:15hrs  Nights: 18:00hrs - 06:15hrs

Our Shepshed based Client seeks an Apprentice to be fully trained in the art of Pattern Making within their engineering company.

Our client has 10,000 square feet of manufacturing area dedicated to the Pattern shop and five in-house CNC Machines. These are supported by a team of highly skilled CAD CAM operatives. Their Specialist Wood Machining department has a further 7,000 square feet of dedicated space.

If you have good Math's and English GCSE's (as a minimum) and are practical, enthusiastic and willing to learn a trade on a formal 5 year apprenticeship scheme, please contact us.

Excellent time keeping and attention to detail are a must.

Basic knowledge or experience using hand tools is desirable, and an interest in Engineering and Manufacturing would be an advantage.
