Hours/Pay:

Nights: £11.99 (inclds Shift Premium & FLT premium) + Overtime Rates

Overtime is paid at T1/2 & Double after 37.5 hours P/W

Role:

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate that;

  • You hold a valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Reach Licence or equivalent
  • Have at least 12 months experience of loading and unloading vehicles and can handle abnormal loads
  • Be competent in handling fragile equipment safely
  • Have an excellent attitude to work
  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements
  • General warehouse duties as directed by Supervisors

Our client is a World leader within the Point-Of-Sale industry, established for over 20 years,  they now make and distribute for some of the world's leading cosmetic manufacturers, all of which are house-hold names.

All roles are full time only, working Monday to Thursday 07.45hrs to 16.30hrs, finishing on Friday at 15.15hrs,  with plenty of overtime both during the week and at weekends where available. Pay is weekly with statutory holidays + enhanced overtime rates and uniform provided.

Pay rate is £8.72 + Overtime rates after 40 hrs

Experience is not essential as full training as standard, the positions would suit anyone with Assembly, Warehousing, Manufacturing / Goods In / Goods Out / Despatch / Inventory / Stock Control / Quality Control / Electrical Assembly / Dis-assembly experience.

Roles require attention to detail skills, and dexterity ability.

Forklift Truck licences would also be very favourable.

Electrician – Temporary

Gill Cooke Personnel are excited to announce we are looking for an Electrical Installer to join our new prestigious team, based at our clients warehouse in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Duties

Various roles within a clean warehouse environment:-

Assembly Operatives- assembling components on a busy production line must be dextrous

Quality Control- Checking for errors following a set of measures and procedures in order to ensure that the quality of the product is met

One of our key Loughborough clients has a sister site in Clitheroe, Lancashire, and we are delighted to offer a number of exciting new opportunities for Toolmakers to be based in Clitheroe, for this global pharmaceutical company.

The tool maker role involves the manufacture and setting of press tooling, routine maintenance, job change overs, and trouble-shooting of daily production issues.

 Rotating shift pattern 0600-1400/1400-2200, some weekend work will be required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and setting of press tooling, tooling corrections and refurbishment
  • Daily checks to ensure quality standards are achieved. Problem solving of daily production issues
  • Manufacturing of jigs and fixtures to enhance the site manufacturing capability
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Operation of a range of precision equipment including lathes, milling machines, surface and cylindrical grinders.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Producing clear, concise and legible documentation

The Candidate

  • Time served Toolmaker. City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with good manual bench skills
  • Experience in deep draw transfer presses preferred but not essential

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
